Calling all Gilmore Girls fans! Lauren Graham has a new book on shelves now! It’s called Have I Told You This Already? and is another essay collection from the actress best known as Lorelei Gilmore.
Her first memoir/essay collection Talking As Fast As I Can was more focused on her time on GG, and this new one has touches of the show, but mostly updates fans on things that have happened since. That includes moments from her short stint on Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist (which totally deserved more seasons) and Mighty Ducks on Disney+. However, if you’re looking for something juicy, there isn’t much drama from those shows.
Lauren is a funny and light writer. I flew through this book in less than 12 hours, including a full night’s sleep. It feels like a chat with a friend in written form. However, after reading several memoirs with so much depth this year, Have I Told You This Already? felt like it was missing something. I just wanted more from it, despite enjoying it. I don’t know if that makes sense, but that’s where I’m at with this one.
