I love me some Tessa Bailey books, so I was pumped to get my hands on her latest novel, Window Shopping. It took a little extra effort, since it’s a self-published novel and a lot of bookstores didn’t have a copy on hand.

You’ve probably seen it all over social media this holiday season, and with good reason. It’s delightful. I may or may not have read the whole thing on a flight while hoping the teenager next to me wasn’t trying to read the steamy scenes over my shoulder.

If you like Ted Lasso, just add Window Shopping to your cart right now. The delightful Jason Sudeikis character is the inspiration for Aiden. But instead of a soccer coach, we get a human ray of country sunshine as the owner of a high end department store in NYC. He meets Stella while she’s standing outside his store, judging his window display.

Stella is fresh out of prison and dreaming of what she could do with the degree she earned behind bars, knowing she’s going to have an exceptionally hard time making it happen due to her criminal past. Lucky for her, Aiden immediately develops a crush on her and hires her… but that throws a kink in his plan of letting her experience his kinky side.

Yes, spicy Ted Lasso, y’all.

I devoured Window Shopping in pretty much one sitting, and laughed out loud on a plane while reading it. There are some complaints about ‘personality transplant’ but ignore that nonsense. A person is completely capable of having both sides.

I’m not sure what else to say about it because you know what you’re getting in general from a Tessa Bailey novel, but also, spicy Ted Lasso Christmas story. It’s pretty clear that it is a good time.
