About LiteraryHype
Honestly, LiteraryHypewoman started because Stephanie wanted free books. After switching cities due to the TV news business, there was a break in working at a bookstore, which led to a drought in ARCs. In 2021, Stephanie decided to start a bookstagram in hopes of snagging review copies, but she wanted to write a little bit more about the books than Instagram allowed. That led to starting literaryhypewoman.com.
With time, LiteraryHypewoman grew and added various other social media platforms. At the same time, Stephanie began orchestrating bookish interviews for the news off-hours, talking far more than was necessary for the show, then converting them into interviews for the LiteraryHype YouTube channel. After more than 50 author conversations, a little bird convinced Stephanie to share those conversations in podcast format.
LiteraryHype branched onto Comic Con stages starting in 2023 when a joke with a friend turned into a panel moderating opportunity at Planet Comic Con. Booksta Buddies featuring Julie Murphy and Sierra Simone was so much fun, Stephanie continued taking on moderating spots at conventions all across the country, including: San Diego Comic Con, New York Comic Con, Emerald City Comic Con, C2E2, and Fan Expo Chicago.
LiteraryHype has changed shape many times over the years, but the heart remains the same. This is a home for book lovers of all types, from readers to writers and every shade in between. Readers can find my honest reviews on books, with the hope that they will find the right reads for them, and maybe a new favorite author. It’s also place for authors to spill tea about their books and share a little more about themselves in a safe and joyful space. Even if you aren’t a big reader, there’s also the page-to-screen content here, getting you details about upcoming movies, TV shows, and audio productions.
In short, LiteraryHype is about celebrating fandom in all forms.
Stephanie’s official bio
Stephanie is a four-time Emmy Award-winning news producer who turned her media skills toward something a little more joyful: books and pop culture. She created LiteraryHypewoman in 2021 as a way of sharing her love of books and giving authors a space to promote their work in a fun, low pressure way. LiteraryHypewoman features book reviews, author interviews, and pop culture convention content on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, as well as Literaryhypewoman.com and The LiteraryHype Podcast.

Stephanie currently lives in St. Louis with her husband and a furry bundle of energy.
A little more personal
Clearly, I am madly in love with books or I wouldn’t be writing about them. I’ve worked in a bookstore part-time for more than a decade to keep up with the habit, and even had my wedding reception in a bookstore. My favorite genres include: fiction, historical fiction, romance, YA, personal growth, history, and Christian life.
In the real world, you can find me binging TV, hanging out with friends, screaming at a k-pop concert, talking to friends about k-pop ad nauseum, painting, knitting, traveling, taking a very long nap, and procrastinating writing.
